Pricing for tiered cakes can vary greatly, depending on size, design, and flavor(s). Please consider the following as general guidelines only:

Buttercream: $2.50 - $4.00 / serving
Fondant: $4.00 - $7.00 / serving

Suggested cake, filling, and frosting flavors for tiered cakes:

A popular flavor combination for tiered, decorated cakes for birthdays, showers, and many weddings is a basic vanilla cake with buttercream filling and frosting, covered in a delicious (yes, really!) homemade fondant. This is an economical choice with broad appeal.

If, however, you are looking for something a bit different, here are some other flavor combinations to consider: (These cake / filling combinations can be covered in buttercream and then fondant for an elegant modern look.) If you have a favorite flavor that you don't see listed, just ask!

• vanilla cake with raspberry buttercream filling
• Italian cream cake* with cream cheese filling
• pina colada cake* with cream cheese filling
• strawberry cake with strawberry buttercream filling

Looking for a delicious and tastefully decorated "reception" cake at a great price?

We offer half sheet cakes that are pre-marked into 54 servings, each with a simple fondant or buttercream decoration in a color of your choice. Size is 12" x 18" (one layer), and flavor is vanilla cake with white buttercream frosting. These are easy to set up and serve, and each piece looks nice on the plate. Guests can even serve themselves!
